Discussed today on KPCCC's Madeleine Brand Show is AMC's business decision to cut costs by cutting two minutes of programming, insert more product placement, and kill off characters to reduce payroll.
To think AMC was the darling for taking up this landmark show. Now they're fairly demonized.
To me, AMC has been a nearly dead entity since they started the full screen and commercials during movies. Mad Men is still a great show.

TV is gonna become one long commercial adbox with no programming at all. Like Orwell's telescreen.
Canceled cable years ago. Thank God for Netflix!!

thank god for the BBC, tv license but no ads (and they have Mad men).
