I bought my DE1126 from Amazon a week ago, and it came with V1.5 on it. Everything seemed to be working except for the Live Mike recording. Using the Microphone function did not work in that the recorded files would just disappear and delete themselves. I then downloaded V1.6 and now the live mike recording function works great! The live mike recordings are now in the same VOICE folder section as are my radio recordings. I'll fully test the DE1126 before I decide on version 1.7, but for now am happy with V1.6 upgrade.

The recorded volume when using the microphone for seminars/conferences, is almost inaudible even when playback volume is at its maximum level. Playback volume when recording from radio is better. What can I do to correct this?

just got my degan 1126 yesterday after shopping reviews for weeks. it will only operate while plugged into charger tho battery is fully charged.
it's running firmware ver. 1.2 and all upgrades seem to have vaporized from the web..........tho all of the warnings have spooked me. and as well, contrary to reviews, even plugged in and operating, the am reception is non-existent! it's why I bought it in the first place!! anyone with a solution? I'd rather use it than return it, but that's where I am. HELP

4 years later after the original post and all the previous comments on this blog post were made, I bought a new Degen DE1126 on Amazon and am currently looking for a firmware update hoping that it will resolve the problem I have encountered with it because the mp3 player skips if that makes any sense. Like I'll be playing a song, and the machine will just stop randomly for just a moment, and then resume the song. It's never at the same point in the song twice and I have searched and searched for information to see if this problem has been experienced by anyone else with this product. The links in the Chinese blog that redirect to Degen's website are no longer good because the site is gone. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
