I remember these in the Grove catalog. Nice idea, but rather expensive, new.
...And, $35 for shipping from NJ, used?
If anyone reading this does go for this, please let us know how you like it.

I believe he meant Bob Grove, of Grove Enterprises and Monitoring Times.

Gary,
Yes, I think Woolman has gotten Larry Van Horn of Monitoring Times confused with Bob Grove.
Remember these back from the early-mid '90's. Never had one but a member of a radio club did. He wasn't too crazy about it and thought it was a bit expensive. Even brought it to a meeting for a 'show and tell'. Interesting demonstration but others commented on other (cheaper) ways to improve a communication receiver's sound.
Might be interesting to see how it would match these little Tecsuns/Degens that are now in vogue.

I have been using the Grove SP-200, which I obtained in an Ebay sale brand new, for the past couple of years, and have only superlatives to offer about it. This is one hell of a piece of equipment. I operate a couple of receivers that do not have notch or PBT capability. The Grove comes in where they lack, and is amazing -- notch and frequency adjustment, tone controls, you name it, this thing has it.
