One of my favorite looking radios, the Sony ICF-5800, is currently bidding for $275. It looks great.
Another radio rarity, the GI Joe Radio, the Panasonic GX400, is bidding today.
Also of interest is the Panasonic RF-1150.

The only radio I regret having sold was a Sony 5800, a truly great radio. Mine had a chip in the cabinet and the timer function didn't work----but other than that, it was fantastic. Picked up AM and shortwave better than any radio I've ever used. I got about $100.00 for it, which is about what I paid from a seller in Japan. I should have kept it----thought it would bid higher, but it didn't.

I'm especially hurt that you didn't offer me the opportunity to buy it.

I should have offered it----I bet at the time you were off of vintage sets or something. If I had sensed interest, I would have definitely asked you!
