With a 54mm case size, GMT time, and reserve-level rubber strap, the Invicta 6181 was called a "combat watch" by the eBay seller. Yes, it's combat in style but not function. Its heavy weight would pull you down while aiming your sniper gun, as a special forces agent told me yesterday when I donned the 6181 at a family event.
But the agent loved the look. Very solid and classy in its black and silver tones. The crown tightens snugly and easily. The materials feel high grade.
When I wear it, I don't feel it's on me. Very comfortable. Because I wear some watches that weigh a full pound, the 6181 feels light on my wrist. I haven't checked the lume yet, but I'm sure it won't be as strong as the Seiko Black Monster. In any event, the 6181 feels and looks good. So far it's a winner.
