I received my K-200 Yesterday from that crazy Newegg sale the other day. It is an excellent kitchen radio. Jill was actually very impressed too, however I think part of that was the reduction in footprint (it replaced a Redsun RP-2000).
Reception is excellent with the basic antenna, pulling WQXR from NYC on FM which is a good test here (ever since they moved to 105.9 with MUCH less power) and pulling WBZ-AM 1030 barefoot during the day. The night light is good for assistance in avoiding the furry creatures that lurk at night (2 cats) and I've already used the egg timer.
That was a great price on the K-200 -- half off. I guess I should have picked one up too.
The PR-D7 for $40 is pretty good too, and it's still available at this price. I think I bought mine for $60, and a second one for my dad for $50.

I also bought one at half off. What a great radio! Great sound and portability. Thanks again for the alert.
