I've been following Tecsun PL-660 reviews because I like the looks of the rig. Like the old saying about fighter planes: "if it looks fast, it is fast". The PL-660 looks right. Unfortunately, the fighter plane analogy doesn't always apply! Still the '660 looks right for a serious SSB utility radio, and I'm hoping that it is a viable contender. My other portables (2010, 803A,900, G5) aren't getting any younger.

After experimenting with a G6, G5 and G3, I finally settled on a PL-660 about 8 months ago. Love it. I can't say that you will, because there are as many opinions of radios as there are radios - but for me it was the right choice.
