I've got 6 leather band watches. They are all very nice like my Invicta Force in black. But I'm finished collecting any watch with a leather band, which is too bad because I've always liked the Chotovelli models. But I'm too OCD for leather, dealing with it getting sweaty and smelly.
Leather seems too problematic. Owning two dozen watches, I can abstain from wearing leather on hot days or any events dealing with physical exertion. But 6 are enough. No more leather.

Herc: I avoid metal band watches because my wrist goes through periodic changes---and I hate the idea of saving links and remembering where they are, going to jewelers to get links taken out or put back in, etc. Leather/rubber suit me fine.

Angelo, in warm weather the wrists will be bigger. I have my watch person size my bracelets loose and I do fine all year around. The best bet is a good rubber band however.

Modena has nice rubber/silicon bands at reasonable prices. They are on E-Bay. I got a nice orange one for a black Nixon watch face. That's what I wore for my beach vacation a couple weeks ago.
