I'd like to see some additional features on the CCRadio3:
1. FM stereo/mono switch (like the CCRadio-SW, CCRadio-EP and PR-D5), for better reception of weak stations
2. Longer whip antenna, for better reception of stations on the lower part of the FM band
3. Simultaneous display of frequency and time (like the PR-D7), or at least the ability to select the frequency or the time as the default
4. RDS (like the PR-D5)
5. Switchable 1 kHz/10 kHz steps via the tuning knob on AM (like the CCRadio-SW)
6. Wide/narrow AM filters (like the CCRadio-SW and CCRadio-EP)

I doubt there will be a 3rd edition.

Hey C.Crane, I have owned many shortwave receivers and really like your CC Skywave Radio, if you do plan on making a 3rd edition, here are my suggestions for improvement...
1. Add shortwave, although you already have three shortwave radios on the market, a radio with the C.Crane Radio 2's unbeatable medium wave reception combined with the same (or if you could do it, better) shortwave reception of the SW, you could become a very popular successor for both radios, especially if it included SSB, something Eton has failed to implement in all 3 generations of their field radio series.
2. Try to retain the long battery life
3. Use a tougher cabinet for the exterior. Many medium wave DXers use the 2 and 2E models in rugged environments, a radio with good durability would likely appeal to buyers.
4. Be more watchful of the quality control of the manufacturers you use for production. Many owners of this radio have complained about their units failing right out of the box and it would be a real shame for your high quality products never to reach the consumers in operable condition. Also, I think the Skywave's reliability should be set as a model for the designing of your future products.
Otherwise, keep up the good work.
