Decent price for an apex performer, a Sony ICF-5500, described in good condition.
I am intrigued by this mint Sony SF-94L, described in mint condition. Does anyone know about its performance. My guess is it's a winner.

Didn't they make a 5500 with SW? And no, I'm not confusing it with the 5800 or 5900----I just recall seeing a 5500 with SW band. I see the auction is still active with over a day to go---it'll be interesting to see if anyone bids the 89.00 price to try to save ten bucks over Buy It Now. In the past, I've seen people bid the starting price---and then the auction has exceeded the original Buy It Now asking price. This is probably a good radio. If it's in solid working condition, it's probably hard to find a better new radio today for the same price.
