FM-only doesn't work for me, as I listen to FM, AM (MW) and SW in roughly equal amounts, but I love the orange color. Might have to get one just because I don't have any orange radios ;-)

I got the orange one specifically for that retro 70s feeling.
By the way, the radio doesn't have a switch to force mono reception, which is a desirable feature for making weak stereo signals sound clearer.
As for describing the volume control, I write for comprehension, which means having descriptive text. If that means it takes longer, so what?
