Last night at the Del Amo Torrance Target I saw a tiny 12oz of picante for $1.39 and next to it was this huge, 34 ounces of Valentina Picante Sauce (made in Mexico) for a $1.57. Target was giving this stuff away, so I went for the huge bottle, took it home and am in love. It tastes like a cross between spicy Heinz 57, Tabasco, and enchilada sauce.
I can't wait to drown this spicy potion on baked potatoes, sardines, chili, scrambled eggs, spaghetti, cheeseburgers, chicken breasts, tacos, humus . . .
My wife said, "I'm glad you love it because it's big enough for an army."
Thirty-four ounces for $1.57 is so cheap I'm wondering if Target made a pricing mistake.
Ingredients?
Amazon has it too.

Jeff: At that price, are you sure it wasn't made at Foxconn??

Jeff: Have you heard of a steak sauce called "Gung Ho Sauce?" I had it at a restaruant in Stafford, Virginia----absolutely delicious (salty/spicy) and I think the label said it was created and distributed by a Marine----sort of a fund raising thing----but I haven't been able to find out where to buy it or how to order it. What can be more manly than spicy steak sauce made by a Marine?

I never heard of that Marine sauce, Angelo, but I'd love to start a rock band called Gung Ho.
