If a vintage radio is truly mint, as the seller claims this Panasonic RF-1150 is, then it often commands a high price. We'll see what kind of luck the seller has.

I don't think this is actually in "mint" condition. You can tell by looking closely at the supersized pictures in the listing that while this radio is in very good to excellent condition, it is not mint. The only way something is truly mint is if it is unopened in the original packaging. I paid $120 for mine and it is in as good as condition as this one is minus the strap.

This radio is an excellent performer on AM radio perhaps better than the famous RF-2200 it has a RF amplifier stage which really amplify while the RF-2200 does not. I currently have 1 RF-1150 and 3 RF-2200 I know what I say.

Huesby I agree. Although I was unaware of the amplified RF stage, I was amazed at the AM performance of the 1150 after using it for a few days. I did think to myself "this radio seems at least as good or maybe better than my 2200 !"
