This is $50 cheaper than I've ever seen the G-Shock Aviation GW3000 with analog hands and 50mm bezel. I saw the new version at Watch City. I think I prefer the older version. The newer version looked smaller even though the employee there told me the new version is easier to use and read. For me, both look easy to read. It's a matter of preference.
I'm a little confused -- what is the older version and what is the newer version?

Sorry, Doug, I don't have the model number. I saw it. It looks "skinny" with big white numerals. A simpler dial. My friend at Watch City said it's replacing the one pictured.

If you want, Doug, I can call Watch City and get the model number.

Maybe it's the G4000. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Casio-G-Shock-GW4000-1A-G-AVIATION-Atomic-Solar-World-Time-Shock-Resistant-Watch-/140724046646?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item20c3ce8b36#ht_4190wt_1158

Jeff, what do you think of this article: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/30/us/community-college-to-charge-more-for-top-courses.html?hpw

Tom, the colleges here are hurting and this is a solution, albeit an imperfect one.

I think you are right. I saw this press release: http://www.gshock.com/news/FE411F71-DE3E-47F5-B665-BCF8F29E1037
I really like the GW3000 with the color scheme shown in this photo. I'll have to go see the 4000 in a store to get a sense of its color scheme.
