I've been pleasantly surprised by Radio Shack the last year or so. I'm not sure about them going back to their roots----but they have had some very aggressive sales on things I like. Their Red Tag deals are fantastic. I stopped at a Radio Shack in Bethlehem, PA over Easter and found two televisions----a tiny one (hand held) and one that was a little larger, but still a travel TV. They are digital. One was about $24.00 and the other was $26.00----clearance floor models. I picked them up for taking them to the Beach, pool, cabin, etc.

I would hope this is the case with Radio Shack. I used to shop there regualarly. A bit more expensive than the retail giant boxes, but quality is more of a concern. I'd rather pay a bit more for that. Now, I find myself going to on line electronics stores because Radio Shack has dropped a lot of what made them "America's electronics store". Still, they do have some intersting pieces, but a far cry from yesterday.
