Of all my Invicta watches (about 40) the Ocean Reef is my favorite. I have a half dozen configurations of the Reef, including the 1854. An eBay seller (whom I don't know) has one today for $139, a great deal on a reserve level watch with screw-down crown.
I'm always disappointed when an Invicta model's crown doesn't screw down tightly (not a defect but a poor design choice in my opinion). Not a problem with the Ocean Reef. A very heavy watch, built like a tank, all Swiss materials, all Swiss made, hand finished. This looks like a $1,000 watch, at least. Yes, I'm a homer for the Ocean Reef. I got my 1854 for about $150 and thought I got a great deal. This $139 price is ridiculous.
Another Ocean Reef "must" in my opinion is the all-gunmetal 6761. The best price currently is $159.47 plus $8.99 shipping on ShopNBC.
