Here are a couple more recent E-Bay watch purchases added to my collection: Tauchmeister's T0057 and the Aeromatic A1067. I've grown to really like the offerings from these sister companies. Aeromatic designs are inspired by aviation----pilot watches, "styled for flight." The Tauchmeister line often mimmicks World War II era divers watches---I love the fact that many of their styles look like submarine/ship portholes. In most cases, the Tauchmeisters are larger and thicker----more robust. The Aeromatics are durable, but their designs are more intricate, with greater detail.
Across the two lines, there are exceptions to this----but that's my general take. It's also interesting to note that they offer both quartz and mechanical movements. Both of my Tauchmeisters are battery powered, while I own one Aeromatic that is mechanical and one quartz. I've been buying these brands well over a year now----closing in on two years----haven't had one single quality issue. They're built like tanks and they tend to get a lot of positive attention----in the case of Tauchmesiter, because of the large size. Retail price range for these watches is between $100. - $300. but you can often find nice new ones for less than $100.00 if you are willing to take what's available. I've bought two of mine pre-owned. Highly recommended.

I'm into more manly watches like Casio G Shocks.

Tom: I'm considering a G-Shock just to say I have one:)

Update for Tom: I found a "new without tags" G-Shock on E-Bay that I really like the looks of---and got it for under $50.00, plus shipping. It's not one of their more expensive models (probably retails for about $100.00) but it is what I was looking for: Traditional digital format, black resin case and band, big and thick. I think I'm going to like it and it will be a great beach watch and work watch. Thanks Tom!
