I'm getting this in the mail today or tomorrow - can't wait to see it. Actually, your pictures were a convincing factor - the stock Invicta photos on Amazon don't do this watch justice; I've found that your pictures really bring their watches alive in general. They should be paying you to photograph their watches.
Another recent purchase, the "combat" Subaqua 6582 (which I got for $125 pre-owned) has terrible lume - it is barely noticeable, but I'm thinking that's how it goes with combat watches? So that the enemy can't see it, I suppose.
How's the lume on 6661? I'm trying to hold back on pulling the trigger on that beauty, but am having trouble not obsessing about it. $300 from NextDayWatches isn't too bad. That and the 5219 are the watches I most want to get, along with the upcoming Sea Hunters (12256 or 12257), but all are a bit pricey for my teacherly budget.

If you're patient, you can find those watches used, often in mint condition, for huge discount.

Hmm...got it today, love it. The lume seems fine to me, although maybe my standards are lower.
