The D95L was released back when the D96L came out. Pretty hard to find either of these now. I wonder if they are still in production. The D96L was a great MW performer, but was VERY prone to overload on SW.

This one doesn't seem to be new; rather, it looks like it is about 2 years old and (as Neil stated) appears to be very hard to find. Too bad, because I wasn't aware of this model and I wonder how well it works. These Chinese DSP models seem to run the gamut from excruciatingly bad to superb.

As everybody says this model is not new. The D95L seems an attractive small dsp receiver but mainly two points keep me away from order this model: propietary lithium battery and fixed 9khz step on MW, useless in my country. Strange is that all the top Kchibo models have dessapeared from Ebay. If anyone is interested in this model, there are several off-ebay ways to buy it.

Chinese sources sell this radio for around $42 plus shipping, which ranges from 10-28 dollars. I haven't tried it and can't comment on it, but the Kchibo D96L, which runs on a fairly standard cell phone LI battery is a good little AM/FM DXer and not too bad on SW, either.

Pablo

The D96L has a better audio than most of the Tecsun´s DSP plus has not the unbearable volume step problem (jumping from no audible to too loud on a quiet environment)
