Angelo

From my location in Washington, DC, the AM and SW perform very well on this radio. Jeff's issue with this radio in the past, as I recall, was inferior speaker sound for the price. He's right----but if you are an evening DXer who tends to use headphones (like me) it is a good buy at this price, with no shipping. I bought one lightly used (from a guy who bought it to have on his cabin cruiser when touring the Caribbean a few years ago). After that trip, he sold it with all accessories and instructions, for under $100.00 as I recall----and I'm thrilled to have it.
