That's a lot of words for what should be the conclusion:

Watches are frickin' awesome.

Speaking of watch awesomeness, I'm curious about your "Watch Demographics," Jeff. You said that you have 40+ watches? How do they break down by brand? What are your very favorites? Etc. Geek it up.

I've got 40 Invictas, 1 Lum-Tec LZ7, 2 Citizen Eco-Drive Divers with 50mm bezels, 1 G-Shock, my beater; 1 Torgoen T10. And that's it. I'm looking for a good Seiko. I'm starting to trend away from Invicta.

I should add if I could only keep 4 Invictas, it would be my 5218, my Ocean Reef 6145, and my Force Master 4831. If I could only keeo one watch, it would be my Lum-Tec LZ7.

That Lum-Tec is a beauty - it has really grown on me.

As for Seikos, I have a SNAD61 which is a really nice watch but rather small - it is 45mm but seems smaller than that. I haven't seen too many big Seikos - let me know if you find one 48mm+.

I want a Seiko SNAC15 or SNAc17 but at 45 or 46mm bezel sizes I'm skeptical about their size. I'd love to try one on first before buying one on Internet.

Jeff: No Nixons? None at all??!!

herculodge

Angelo, I sold all my Nixons. I am not impressed with their build quality. My wife's cousin owned one that crapped out after a year. I had to send one back with fog, so did my colleague. Very cheap build quality for the price.

"I'm starting to trend away from Invicta."

With 40 Invictas and 5 others, you've got nowhere else to go, my friend.

Anyhow, my Seiko SNAD61 has a 45mm bezel and it seems a lot smaller than that, much smaller than the Ocean Reefs and Ocean Speedways, more like the Speedway 9223. I have a feeling that those 45-46mm bezels will be too small for your tastes.

My Pulsar PF3737 looks somewhat similar to the SNAC15/17 and it fits me really well, but it has a 48mm case. I love the Seiko Ananta SAEK019, but it is over $3,000 and if I was going to spend thousands I'd probably get a Breitling Hercules, which I think I like better than the Super Avenger.

Those Seikos wear bigger on SS bracelet. Case in the point, the 41mm (46 including crown) Seiko Black Monster looks substantial and manly on the wrist and in many ways I miss it more than my much larger, more expensive Invictas. But you can't wind it so you're always resetting it since it's part of a large rotation.
