If you can't afford a Grundig Satellit 700, here comes a cheap alternative:
Meloson M7 FM/AM (DSP) MP3/WMA radio
There are a few photos in this post at Tecsun's user forum:
http://bbs.tecsun.com.cn/0002.asp?open=455406
Size of the radio: 150/96/30mm
Its media player seems to have good functionality: 100 folder/8 level support, resume play, etc.
Currently it is for sale at Taobao (a Chinese online shopping website) for RMB 178 (around USD30). Hopefully it will soon be available on Ebay as well. The company behind this radio also developed CC Radio Gozo so I believe we can expect good audio from this new M7.

Oops! a Typo of mine:
It should be Meloson, the last letter is not M. This is the name for the low-end product series of the company.
Also, forgot to mention, the company held a competition to give the model a nickname and the winning name means "Old Boy".

Speaking of the Grundig Satellit 700, I snatched one up a few months ago brand-new (no box) on ebay for about $400. It marginally outperforms my Satellit 500 on FM (oh so slightly more selective) and doesn't have as much variance across the AM spectrum in sensitivity. Also adds the additional feature of a true sync detector as well as a clarifier to fine-tune the BFO in SSB mode - this thing does great in crowded AM and SW bands. Probably the best radio in its size class that you can get - not sure how it compares in performance to the new mini Tecsuns, but I like its larger size.

That looks really nice. I can hardly wait to see more about it.
I'm tempted to pick one up just out of curiously.

I ordered one from Taobao via Yoybuy (a Taobao Agent)..so far the experience is extremely good ordering from that site. If anybody wants a mini tutorial about how to order I will provide it. I´ve reading lots of comments about this mini radio and all are the same: good enough as radio with superb sound all in a tiny package!..I´m anxious

I did the same thing with a GE 7-2990 (Panasonic RF-2600 with a different case and dial) with astounding results.
You're right. It actually outperformed a RF-2200.
Of course the plastic tuning gear went bad...a common problem with this model.
I've been thinking of doing the same to an old DX-400. With it's ant trim control on the front and triple
superhet circuit it could be a really hot rig. As it is with an outboard coil (Select-A-Tenna ect) it blows everything else I have away.
