Yesterday we went to Long Beach and spent time in Carrie's parents' pool where Natalie likes to explode out of the water.
She will stay in the pool even when her teeth are chattering and her face turns blue. I pull her out and she cries in spite of her cold body temperature. I need to get her a floater so she can be on the water and not in it.
If you look closely, I'm wearing the watch that started my addiction. Purchased in 2006, it's my 48mm Citizen Eco-Drive Professional Diver.
Nice photo Jeff, but everyone wants to know what Dive watch you have on?

Thanks for reminding me, Chris. I'll edited the post with the name and link of the watch, a Citizen Eco-Drive Pro Diver.

Funny how the watch becomes the focal point.
Anyhow, we've used a floater with my almost-four year old for the last two years that works really well: you basically just click it on and she can paddle around without parental assistance. The styrofoam floating part is across her chest and around her arms, with a click strap across the back. Her first year swimming we put her in this kind of fabric disc, but she quickly outgrew that and become bored. We tried the arm things that your child has on, but they didn't provide the stability of her current floater. I can't remember the brand name and am too lazy to look right now, but if you're interested I'll find out.

No worries. By floater, I meant we'll get Natty and her sister Julia a Shamu or a boat or something so they're out of the water.
