I think it was September of 2006 I bought myself a watch, one based on a real passion, based on a chill up my spine. It was this 48mm Citizen Eco-Drive Pro Diver BJ8050-08E. It was $205 then; now it goes for $237.
As much as I like it, I don't think I can recommend it for most people. The strap is meant for a diver sleeve, not a human's bare wrist. As a result, the rubber doesn't conform to the wrist well at all so that tight, the strap pinches part of the wrist. Worn loosely, the strap makes the watch wobble a bit.
I have the stainless steel bracelet version, which gets more wrist time. Part of me thinks I should sell rubber strap version, but then there is probably a sentimental factor to deal with.
I like that watch and would continue buying it from you, although A) I've got tons of watches ahead of it on my wishlist (including the Black Monster on-deck), and B) I'll probably take your advice and if I ever get this piece, go for the bracelet. I suppose there is also C) My next Citizen will be a BJ2115.

The BJ2115 is most likely more comfortable. In fact, that's on my top 3 wishlist.

The BJ2115 may not be top 3 for me, but it is close - certainly top 10 and probably in the top 5. Actually, it may be the longest running watch on my wishlist, which probably says something (like, time to buy it). I feel like I kind of missed the both on it as there were a couple that I saw go by on Ebay for ~$200.

This writer has some interesting thoughts on luxury watches and luxury cars. I'm not into watches, so you guys may get it...
