Call me a Seiko man too. Jeez, what happened to us? Anyhow, I got the SNAD33P1 today and absolutely love it. I'll do a blog post tomorrow with pictures. Suffice it to say I can see getting one or two more watches in this same case style (like the "combat" style) - with the bracelet it wears at a perfect size for my wrist. Great deal for $140.

I want to see the photos, for sure. Invicta is a frou frou drink with whipped cream and cherries. Seiko is a tall icy glass of homemade ale. Seriously, Seiko simply has better build quality and lume. And the less frou frou style has grown on me.

Geezer

I'm glad that you were able to salvage the situation.

I've never had luck with Invicta watches.
One was a "Lupah" that broke within a month.
The second-hand on the watch wasn't aligned with dial markings.
Then it died on the 25th day of ownership.
Returned it to ShopNBC for a full refund.

Here's my watch rotation in order of use:

-Citizen Ecozilla (you turned me on to this one)
-Casio Mudman Solar Atomic
-Seiko Monster Black
-Citizen Orca

-Luxury Swiss watches (when dressing up only)

Rolex Sea-Dweller (2006 vintage)
Rolex Air King (1960 vintage)
Breitling Heritage 46 on steel mesh bracelet
Omega gold manual wind watch, 1952 vintage

The best time-keeper?
...The Casio Mudman

The martial arts instructor at my college wears a Mudman. Nice timepiece.
