"Some Dude," along with myself and everyone else who has contacted me, has returned the Sangean WR-12. "Some Dude" writes:
Yeah, I tried giving it a chance for awhile but I just can't get over how poor the reception is, and the decent bass wears off after awhile due to the lack of mid and treble definition. I sent mine back. I think I may give the WR-11 a shot. I'm a little annoyed that I'll have to pull the auxiliary cord in and out every time I want to use it, but I really enjoy the look and simplicity of the WR-11 and WR-12. Can anyone who owns the WR-11 confirm how well it plays at louder volumes? It doesn't have to be perfect, but I would like it to fill a room with decent bass and still have the treble sound clear and well defined.

Your previous post on the WR-12 prompted me to complete an Amazon review. So now there are three negative reviews on Amazon regarding the WR-12.

I noticed that. I doubt there will be any positive reviews. It's that bad.

According to thiecom.de the WR-12 is no longer available in Germany, the series will be revised and available again approximately jan/feb 2013.
In my opinion it's a shame to bring such a peace of crap on the market without sufficiently testing it.

I have the WR-11, and find it can easily fill a room with full sound. I also have the older WR-1, and find its treble to be a little clearer than the WR-11. They both sound great, but I prefer the sound of the older WR-1. We use the WR-1 in the living room, and the WR-11 in the kitchen.
I also have a Tivoli Model One, and find that both Sangeans sound better than the Tivoli. They have fuller sound. The Tivoli has a muddier bass sound.
