I'm here at work waiting for students to turn in their essays. I'm wearing my Invicta Subaqua Specialty Reserve 6903, which I've noted earlier lacks strong lume in a dark environment.
If that's not bad, I notice today in my office that 90% of the time I can't read it in LIGHT! The lack of contrast between the wispy hands and the chrono dial makes it almost unreadable.
But what a great look. I'm leaning toward selling it. An unreadable watch strikes me as a violation of the Manly Watch Code.
I've got some non-chrono versions of this watch that fill the bill and are easier to read.
Do what thou wilt, but I would recommend keeping it for now; unless you need the money, what's the rush? It is one unique, great-looking watch - the bezel, the face, especially the chrono. I'd put it in a box for a few months and revisit in the Spring or so.
If I remember correctly, it was your pictures of the 6903 that led me to purchase that watch. The same with the Leviathan, although I saw your pictures first on Amazon. The Invicta stock photos just don't do those watches justice.
That said, I've actually also thought of selling my 6903, but not for the same reasons - it is just too massive. Actually, I just got the SKA425 today (as good as hoped for, but I'll blog about it tomorrow when the light will better facilitate photos) and wanted to compare it size-wise to my Invictas. It is dwarfed by the SASs, which look rather ridiculous. The SKA425 is very similar in size and presence to the Ocean Reefs, which to me now seem like big watches. the SAS, Leviathan, etc, just seem absurd.

Like I said, I'm torn on the 6903. But I'm in no rush to get rid of it. Your SKA425 I imagined would play like a 48mm but it sounds more like a 46mm, still big enough for a watch of such power. Now you have two "Breitlings." That is, if you include the SNAD05, which I guess also plays like a 46mm.

Yeah, it feels like a 48mm watch although is a bit smaller - 46mm, I think.
Actually, I have three "Breitlings" - the two-tone SNAD06 as well, which is the same design as the SNAD05.
I did a "first impressions" of the SKA425.

A modest INVICTA----42MM case size, very simple dial. The four bands alone are worth this price----a good deal for someone who just wants a basic timepiece. 22MM band size is versatile too and you get four of them.
