A diver watch with these features for under $300 is exceptional. Sometimes, Deep Blue diver watches are on sale with similar or same Seiko movement and similar specs.

Sounds like you're gearing up to purchase an Orient. Maybe you'll take one for the team and get one first.

Bought an Orient Blue Ray 2weeks ago...you will not be disappointed. I had a Bulova Marine Star that looked great, but had issues right out of box. I don't know how Orient can build what appears to be a quality, good looking (in my opinion) timepiece for such a reasonable price. I purchased on Amazon for 113.00

Herc: I think your daughter is pushing you toward Orient. Didn't even want you to inform us that you're considering Deep Blue.

That's two votes for Orient - your daughter and myself, although mine is self-interested.

Orient looks better. Probably that one. Need to sell 3 watches. Perhaps after January. Hope that price stays the same.
