I've got 5 watches, all Invicta, I may put for sale this January. I'm on the fence with some of them. They include the 0357 Luminary (not sure I like the 6 and 12 numerals, too Vegas), the SAS 6181 (redundant in a loaded collection), the SAS 1584 (nice to look at but I never wear it), the Ocean Speedway Reserve 4937 (unusual watch, but I never wear it, pictured below), Force Master F0049 (red really pops but I never wear it).

I say, cut in waves. What haven't you worn in months? What doesn't stand out? Get rid of those first. Keep those watches that either stand out as unusual or you have any question about selling...at least until the others are sold.
I just sold a few Invictas - a SAN III 5511, the limited edition tungsten 1248, and a SAN IV 6582. Next up is one of my Ocean Reefs, a couple SAS, and the Venom II; I'm still balking a bit on some, but I'm probably going to do it.

I think after investing so much in the Invictas----that points to a love of the watches/brand that might return. The reality is that at this point in time, a cabinet full of Invictas not being worn isn't doing anyone any good----so yes, selling them to finance other purchases is a good idea. But my advice is not to purge down to zero. I think keeping a couple of your very favorite ones----or unusual ones----is a smart approach. There will be a certain nostalgia to slipping one on----taking you back to 2010----when the desire for more and better Invictas was at its peak. And truth be told, they are nice watches. I have two of them and I have no plans to sell either.
