Jeff - You'll probably tire of it long before five years go by, plus you could buy several Seikos of different styles for the same price.

I wonder if the depreciation on Benarus watches is better or worse than it is on Seikos. Until you mentioned the brand, I had never heard of it.

The service costs are turning me off. I don't mind the upfront money so much, but I don't want an exotic sports car in the shop with high service costs. What I like about Benarus is that this style is unlike anything. On the other hand, I may, as you say, Gary, grow tired of it.
