I recently bought an orange-dial Deep Blue Sunray Diver similar to the one shown above. It's got sapphire and a Seiko movement with crown wind option. I should receive it soon.
Should I wind it every day? Probably not. Best to wind it only days I'm going to wear it so I don't strip the crown threads.
Good discussion about the to wind or not to wind question here.
Also if you have a big collection like myself and don't have a watch winder box, it's probably a good idea to "activate" the automatic watch, getting it ticking, by either shaking it for 30 seconds or giving it a full wind twice a week as prescribed here.
With this Deep Blue, I will have 5 automatic watches, two of which are kinetic and have a longer power reserve. One, the Deep Blue, have manual crown winding option. To insure their longevity, I'm thinking I'll rotate them and be sure to get them ticking at least twice a week.
