Agreed. And for the true hobbyist---the challenge is in DXing the traditional way. The fascination of how weather/season, antenna, location---affects your ability to tune distant stations in. For me, that connection is still stronger than my internet connection! I've said it before----the idea that a box with batteries in it can pick up voices in live time---speaking from another continent---still fascinates me after all these years.
