I've heard the first thing a woman notices when a man walks into a room is his watch. Being single and in one's twenties when being a rakish Billy Goat is a full-time job, it's important to have peacocking accessories. Enter Invicta, with lots of flashy models that are real lookers between $200-300.
As you get older (I'm 51, married, children), more classic high-end watches with strong lume become the draw, watches that cost between $550-$1,200 and even higher. Or go on a budget with Seiko and Citizen starting around $200.
That's a sweet-looking watch - I love the grey dial. Maybe worth keeping?
p.s. I don't know if that's true about women noticing the man's watch first. My wife doesn't care or notice.

I'm keeping a few stage prop watches including the gray Invicta. The point about the man's watch being seen by a woman is probably something stupid sales pitch I once heard on a watch TV show. But I don't remember where I heard it.

If she notices your watch at all, I'm pretty sure she'd notice a resin band.. The "look-successful-inexpensively" brand would be Orient.

I recall reading somewhere that the first thing a woman notices about a man are his shoes (?).

And we all know the old saying: big shoes--big feet!

Keith: Shawshank Redemption: Didn't we learn that people DON'T notice shoes? I recall that being Andy's observation.
