Just got the new Heartland America catalog and they're selling the Grundig G6 (looks like it's the special "Buzz Aldrin" edition) for $44.99, which is a great price for this very good small radio. It says "free shipping", sort of,..they tack on a $2.99 handling charge to all orders. Still, a great deal on this radio.

Hope all is well.

Although the Grundig G6 is shown in the catalog link above, it doesn't seem to be available for purchase on the web site at this time. It doesn't come up when searching for "radio" or "Grundig."

Yes, I noticed that too after I wrote to Jeff. Not only that, but my hard copy of the catalog (same picture, same location on the page) has the price at $45.99 instead of $44.99.
I've noticed that Haeartland is very sloppy when it comes to that sort of stuff, and thier customer service is not very good either.
Still, amid all the junk of dubious quality and value that they sell, occasionally a real bargain slips in, like the G6.

A couple years ago, they had the red version of the Grundig/Eton S350DL listed on their site for a really good price. Right around $50 I believe. When I tried to place an order, I was told it was out of stock, and not expected back. It took them 2-3 days to remove it from the site. I remember being extremely disappointed. Shortly after that Radio Shack put the black version on sale, so I grabbed one there. Never did land the red one, though. :-(
