Regarding your recent discussions on watch pricing, thought this might put it in perspective:
The 25th annual LA International Pen Show will be open to the public Sunday, Feb 17, from 10 am to 5 pm at the Manhattan Beach Marriott. The show is one of the largest of its kind, featuring vintage, modern and limited pens, that range from $10 to $300,000 (!!)...
And you thought watches were overpriced.
I advise you not to go; wouldn't want to be responsible for starting another addiction!

Funny. There are just so many random, weird collecting addictions. I actually could see myself getting into pens...better stay away (although I prefer felt-tip like the Staedtler Fineliner or Micron).

I'm left-handed, so while I have no huge fascination for pens, if they could invent one that doesn't smudge that would be great.

I am already a pen enthusiast----but not expensive ones. I like trying different "common" pens from all the consumer/drugstore manufacturers, Bic, Paper Mate, Sanford, etc. My favorite pen is the F-301 by Zebra. Excellent. I prefer standard paste ink over liquid ink, which I find smears too easily and doesn't deliver the type of writing I want. "Skilcraft" U.S. Government contracted pens are also great. Not at all fancy----but they serve very well.

I love that Zebra series of pen... Clean design, nice barrel size, writes nicely, has a matching pencil. Perfect and cheap for me.
