This automatic Seiko Sports SNZJ19K1 looks like a lot of watch for the money, bold, stylish, with an articulated bezel, big lume. What a great watch for someone new to the Seiko scene. An Amazon seller is featuring it for $146.

I've dabbled with getting that one before, or the all-black one with orange markers, the SNZJ21. I usually don't go for the "Halloween look" but that one looks really nice. Here it is on Yeoman's:

Anyhow, if I hadn't upped my level I might consider it but I fear I wouldn't enjoy it as much as I should. It looks like the hands are the same as the Sumo.
Speaking of which, the Sumo is marked "out for delivery" - boy am I excited.

I think if the one pictured above had an all-black bracelet and case to go with that bezel, I wouldn't be able to resist.

My favorite all black Seiko is the SKZ255. I should have bought one when they were going for 265 two years ago. Those days are gone.

Yeah, they're hard to find. I check WatchRecon often and will keep my eyes out for you. I've thought about a Frankenmonster for some time but in the end I'd rather save up for a Tuna, which covers the same general territory. I don't understand why they don't make an all-black Tuna with a bracelet - all the all-black Tunas I've seen use a strap.

I'm going to get a Tuna but first I have to sell the 10 watches that are up on eBay. I think you're right though about most fanboys going to the Sunday Run to get their fix. It could be tough but I want to get my bling brand down to 4 this year. Who knows. I may unload those 4 later on down the road. Once I get started on a mission . . .

For those who prefer a solar quartz dive watch with a strap, a couple of Amazon third-party vendors recently dropped the price on the Seiko SNE107P2 from $165 to $126.
