It seems that the TB-100 has the same bass-heavy sound as the LB-100. If Sangean would simply add full-range bass and treble controls to their bass-heavy radios that lack them, this would go a long way toward correcting the problem.

The WR-2, for example, has very effective bass and treble controls.

I guess as long as they keep selling enough units, notwithstanding their flaws, Sangean is happy.

You could add the Sangean WR-3 (unfortunately discontinued) to the list of Sangean radios with full spectrum, agreeable, sound.
