Well, if you don't want meat, just eat hot dogs.

Anything tastes better with chilli sauce, unless it's the kind that gives me terrible cramps. The cruel irony is I come from a culture where chilli consumption is the norm.

Jeff, do you like Persian/middle eastern Kabob?
Try this place in Glendale:

I love Persian and Middle Eastern. Glendale is about an hour from Torrance or 2 hours in traffic. Ten minutes away in North Redondo Beach is "Little Lebanon," where I find my fix. But if we're in Glendale, I'll check out Raffi's, for sure.

Yes I know you're not close but if you're in that part of town, Raffi's cannot be beat.
This place is also good and cheaper, right across PCC in Pasadena:

Finally, also in the same general area, an amazing bakery:

If I'm out there, I'm not going to pinch pennies. I'll go to Raffi's. The menu looks like good, basic ingredients, no gimmicks. My kind of restaurant.

No bacon & eggs for breakfast? ~250 calories + zero insulin movement leaves your body with nothing to do but burn fat all morning..

That's a great low-carb breakfast as long as I don't inhale my daughters' uneaten peanut butter toast, oatmeal, fruit, etc., all scattered on the breakfast table looking up at me as I'm cleaning up the kitchen.

I, and many others, have found the book, "Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type" to be very useful in this respect. This applies whether one intends to eat meat or become vegetarian/vegan. The book provides sound reasoning for making our nutritional choices.

I'm O positive, which means lots of meat, low carbs.
