While I like the look of the stock bracelet on the Orient M-Force SEL-3001B0 (I have the Japanese clone under different model number name), the bracelet is, as many have complained, on the cheap side (see stock bracelet above). When I'd shake mine on my wrist, I could hear a hollow tin rattle that gave me the eebie-jeebies. So I bought the Super Engineer Type II, made of 316L grade steel.
My watch man switched it free of charge and said he had to buff it down a bit to size it for the 23mm lugs.
The cheap rattle is gone. But it's taking me a while to get used to the new look. I find the bracelet's busy styling to compete a bit with the already busy bezel and dial. But it's staying. No cheap rattle for me.
I hear what you're saying. On first blush they look like they don't go together, but it may grow on you (and me). But I also almost really like it. I'd have to see wrist shots to get a real sense of how it looks.

If Carrie is in the right mood, not easy with twins and one going through potty training, I'll see if she can photo the wrist. My own wrist shots don't look as good.
