With a 45mm bezel, solar power, sapphire crystal and elegant silver dial (which I don't have in my collection), this Citizen Eco-Drive AT0831-59A goes to the wish list. It's hard to believe it's selling for $200 on a few websites. I don't see it on Amazon. There's also a 59H version, which I think is dark dial but a silver dial shows up on Google images sometimes under 59H, so I'm not sure, but I think I want the 59A silver dial version.

I'm targeting a new Aeromatic in the $200.00 range ($229.00 to be exact----looking for a sale though or the acceptance of a "best offer" on Ebay). It's big (47MM case) and has 3 crowns, two of them jumbos. If I get it----I believe it will be the last of this chunky, "overdone" style that I do like. I love the Tauchmeister/Aeromatic line, but I wonder if they'll have a follow-up act or just fade away? In particular, Tauchmeister's entire business is built on a specific style/theme. Where do they go from there? The funny thing is that the Aeromatic I currently like is styled more like a Tauchmeister. The other funny thing is that my last few purchases have drifted away from the XL or XXL, thick watch cases----but for some reason, I feel the need to get one last hurrah from it. Now I will go to Invicta's Sunday Run to see if they're doing anything ridiculous this week.

Hey Jeff: If it's silver with a silver dial you want----there's a $995.00 Invicta on the Sunday Run selling for $105.00! Actually, it's a nice looking watch. They've had some shaky Sunday Runs lately, but this week is pretty good.

Speaking of the Sunday Run----they are offering a watch with a silver dial this week, Jeff! It's got a high grade polyurethane strap and everything! It's a thousand dollar watch going for just over a hundred bucks. Silver dial!

That white poly strap doesn't work for me. I'm thinking of a Hamilton Jazzmaster.

I was thinking the same thing. It's almost as if they had a large quantity of bands leftover and a bunch of silver faced cases leftover---and that was the catalyst for this mismatch. "Odd" is giving it the benefit of the doubt. I guess you could also say "unique" in a complimentary way.
