Carrie and I want our twins to have infinite possibilities and not be squeezed into some pink haze cultural cliche of princesses and other precious affectations. But the damage has been done. Thanks to cultural osmosis, the girls are in princess mode. Julia takes the role very seriously while Natalie takes a more comical approach.

Now that your girls are princesses they deserve a puppy or a kitten. What's a family without the pitter-patter of little paws.

Having two daughters myself that enjoy dressing up in princess gowns (we've got tons of them), I almost think it is something innate and not cultural.
You've also got to admit that there are few things cuter than one's own daughter in a princess gown.
