The CC Pocket has very good selectivity and sensitivity on FM, making it excellent as a radio to wear while jogging, hiking, etc. It is better for these purposes than other "belt clip" radio I have tried, including the Sony MRF-S37W, Sony SRF-S84, Sangean DT-200X, and Sangean DT-400W.
Even when I was jogging near a commercial FM transmission antenna (getting as close as 25 feet to the base of the antenna), the CC-Pocket was able to maintain reception of a weaker station without interference -- something that the other radios cannot do.
The push-button tuning of CC-Pocket system is much more convenient while exercising than the analog tuning of the SRF-S84 and the complicated tuning system of the Sangean units I mentioned.
The Sony units I mentioned are less bulky and a little lighter, but this is still a light radio.
I did not extensively test AM reception; but my casual impression is that it is adequate for ordinary AM listening.
My main interest for this pocket radio is for exercise, but it strikes me that this might also be useful for two other things as well:
* It might be a great travel radio, since it is lightweight, has 1kHz/9kHz/10kHz AM tuning, 2.5/4 kHz bandwidth selection, and sleep/alarm functions. (I usually take a Sony ICF-SW100 when traveling, but the SW100 is heavier and is out of production.)
* It might be a great backpacking radio, since it has weather band reception and emergency alerts.
My initial impression is that for the size and weight, this is an outstanding FM radio and good for ordinary AM use.
The only significant drawback I see so far to the CC-Pocket radio is that it a bit pricey.
