I tend to love orange dials with silver bezels, not black (too Halloween), so I jumped on this Invicta Venom 1402 when it showed up on the Invicta Sunday Run, Sprint Edition, at half the price it usually sells for on eBay and Amazon. This is pure fashon watch, too thick and floppy on the wrist for serious diving. But as style goes, it comlements gray, blue, brown, and several other colors, so it can almost be worn every day.

Looks like orange soda. Seiko had a rare model I think dubbed "Jelly" or "Jellyfish" that had a similar soda-pop theme, but I can't find a photo of it right now.

That watch looks like a lot of fun.

Now that you mention soda pop, I'm reminded of living in Nairobi, Kenya, circa 1973. At fine restaurants, I'd order a Fanta, the waiter would pour my tall glass one-fifth full, during which time I thought, what a rip-off, but then he'd return 15 minutes later and add soda water to it.

Gotta love how Invicta makes arm jewelry look like actual jewelry, but I could only manage that band at the beach..

I like the orange band. I bought a black Nixon watch that was missing the band----and added an orange Modena silicone band (similar to this Invicta's) for a great look. Yes, a little "Halloween" because of the black----but the band in bright orange makes it a great beach watch---just a nice Summer color. On soda: I was at a Club Med in Mexico-----and the Fanta orange (as well as the 7Up and Pepsi) tasted incredibly good. I was telling friends of mine----I haven't had soda taste this good since I was a kid. Someone there explained why----apparently, they still use cane sugar, while we switched over to corn syrup. Superior taste for the cane sugar flavored sodas.

By the way, regarding the "floppiness" of the watch----keep in mind that divers wear these over a wet suit. The bands on a true divers watch have a little play in them. As for the depth of the case----that's another matter. Might not be practical around the coral!
