Rare Kiwa Antenna Uncovered

It's a "NOS" (new old stock) Kiwa MW Air-Core Loop Antenna which has been sitting in storage since 2000, brand new in the box.

This auction is for a Kiwa Electronics MW Air Core Loop Antenna.  This antenna was never sold.  It was put in storage in the year 2000 before a move from WA to MN and was recently found.  The antenna is complete as it was in 2000.  This is the last Kiwa MW Loop that will ever be sold!   The original price in 2000 was $400.   

The Kiwa MW Loop Antenna is unlike any other Loop antenna.  It includes the following:  balanced air core design, adjustable regeneration for bandwidth control, 3 to 1 gear reduction for azimuth control (great for nulling signals), dual outputs capable of driving two 50 ohm  receiver inputs, solid oak base, compass for bearing measurements, can be powered by an external 13.7 VDC battery/supply. and a DX/Local sensitivity switch.

Holy grail of indoor antennas, possibly, depending on your feelings on the Palomar antenna. Kiwa's an awesome company though, I wish they still did antennas and mods [on current radios.] True holy grail status would have to go to Wellbrook, if you have the attic space or a tower..
