In search of a lume tool watch by a microbrand industry, I looked to MWG (Molarity Watch Group) from Canada.
With a bezel of 48mm, a Citizen quartz movement and 22mm lugs, the MWG Diver wears heavy on the wrist even with the rubber strap.
The strap is an oddity. It's high quality but very short, barely fitting my 7.5-inch wrist (only 2 holes to spare).
The bezel feels good. A perfectly, smooth clicking motion suggests attention to quality and detail.
A weakness aside from short bracelet is the hour hand isn't as visibile as I'd like. Not a deal killer but noticeable.
Because no rubber strap wears with comfort on my wrist, I'll upgrade this to a Super Engineer Bracelet II. I can't wait to show pics of that. The watch will look like a 3K timepiece at that poing.
Love it. Actually, the strap looks fine. Maybe a bit understated compared to the watch itself, but not bad.

In reference to diving watches. When scuba diving/snorkeling, predator fish may mistake anything shiny & glowing as a bait fish. Barracuda is an example.

Jeff,
That's a nice looking watch. I think it's the best looking Molarity model. How's the lume? It looks like it should be good, except for maybe the hour hand.

I held the watch under my lamp for a minute, then walked outside in the dark backyard. The lume was above average but maybe not as strong as my Black Monster's.

The Black Monster is famous for its lume, so that's no big deal. Actually, the only watches that I've found that equal it are my Orient Revolvers and Saturation Diver.
Jeff, from my perspective this Molarity is what a "big watch" should look like. It fits your writs perfectly - it looks quite large, but not ridiculous. What is it, 48mm?

It's 48mm and very thick. I'm curious how it will come to life on a bracelet.

When are you getting the bracelet?
The point, though, is that visually--least from my perspective--that's the right aesthetic for a "big watch": 48-50mm. 52mm is do-able, but beyond that and it just gets ridiculous. But 48mm is big enough.

I should have the bracelet by Friday or Saturday. I can't wait. I notice the Citizen at 43 looks good, so size is relative to other features.

Yeah, it is. I have to remind myself that "normal" watches are 40mm and less. A 43mm bezel might seem small to you and I, but its actually above average in the historical context of watches.
My Citizen is perfect size for what it is. I'll try to take some pictures on my wrist tomorrow and put it up.

You should list the rubber strap on E-Bay. That might be of interest to some people.
