Shawn might come off brash but he's right in this argument. The SuperRadio 2 is way over hyped for what it can do. It is not worth 400 bucks.

I think most of us can agree that no one should be spending 400 dollars on an SRII.

Agreed, $400 for any radio is just insane. Unless I'm the seller. Hahaha. Also, I guess I just assumed that any serious discussion concerning the Superadio line was about the I and/or II series. The only thing the SR3's ever did was to tarnish the SR name. Sad.

Dave: Some would say the Mustang II (which came out in 1974 and I believe lasted through 1978 before being replaced) tarnished the Mustang name. Looking back, those little Mustangs (which I believe might have been on the Pinto platform) had weak resale value----and poor longevity. I haven't seen one on the road for years, even though I see plenty of other cars from that era and some much older, still being used as daily drivers. I have a '79 Chevy Monza that has never not started for me----drove it to and from the Airport yesterday in fact. Anyway----my point is that even though the Mustang II falls short of the Mustang name, people, to this day, will still buy them when one is available----because it's "still a Mustang." And I think with the Super Radio III. people will still buy them for the name---and perhaps for a few nice features like strong reception and good sound for the price. I believe Amazon had them for $24.99 once---add one other thing----a paperback book or CD you want for example---and get free shipping too. If that deal came back, I might even try one out.
