You know the guy who buys a Saab (or did) because he didn't want to be another BMW driver. The Invicta Russian Diver 0233 is the Saab of watches. At 50mm across the bezel, it plays more like a 48mm on the wrist.
The dial is a striking sunray silver though some describe it as white. The lefty crown is unsual, draped with a chain.
All Swiss parts and all Swiss made, this used quartz watch arrived dead on arrival but luckily a new battery got it going again.
What do I think about its style? Depends on what mood I'm in. I'm having a hard time putting my brain around this one, but I kind of like that about it.
Every watch collection needs an odd ball - a watch that is a bit different than the rest. I'm guessing that you won't wear this very much, but will enjoy wearing it on occasion, and you'll probably look at it on your wrist more often than most watches.

I like the oddball effect, and I doubt I'll see any one else wearing it.

Is one of those hands a 24 hour hand?

Yeah, military time, a military watch. This watch is growing on me.

I can see some random dude wearing it, like a Thai food delivery driver.

That's funny. I am the Random Guy, a new super hero?

That reminds me of the "Area Man" tee-shirt from the Onion that I got my father (he loves it). Random Guy would work too.

Thumbs up. I like the oversized crown cover and the chain!

All Swiss made of all Swiss parts is a dubious claim even for "high-end" Swiss watch brands. Just more Invicta marketing manipulation of the frankly ridiculous Swiss watch industry rules that until recently stated only 51% of the value of the watch had to be of Swiss origin. They recently changed it up to 60%. It's still a scam that is wide open to exploitation by certain manufacturers.

Despite the more stringent requirement I don't think it really addresses the problem.

Random Guy would be a great superhero! With the power to scramble probability until it screams. In his poker games, straight flushes lose to royal straight flushes. Coin flips are always heads and dice roll to all sixes. Confronted by a mugger with a gun, suddenly the brakes on an ice cream truck fail and it rockets across the curb and takes out the bad guy. Much fun.
Only problem is, what would his catchphrase be? Probably something totally non sequitur and different each time, and he'd end up sounding like Zippy the Pinhead. Hope he wouldn't be as boring as Zippy.
