While I relapsed into a fashion bling watch sweet tooth six weeks ago or so, I recovered on my wobbly bicycle, as it were, and regained my focus on my evolving watch tastes evidenced by my recent acquistion and top 3 favorite Molarity Diver (upgraded with a Super Engineer II bracelet).
I don't have the Oris Aquis, but this Molarity should sate my tool diver craving for now.
That's a great watch. I feel like I don't need to own it because you do, sort of like when you're young and a friend lands the hottie and you feel like he "scored for the team" and can live vicariously through him (to an extent).
On a side note, whenever I see pictures of you wearing your watch, I wonder what is going through your wife's head (assuming it is her taking them). Is she humoring you? Smiling fondly and bemusedly? Annoyed and wanting to get back to Things That Matter?

It would be interesting to hear the "wife's" & his student's opinions on his watch enthusiasm.

My international students are very interested in watches. My American students for the most part have no interest. My wife puts up with my obsession because she feels "things could be worse."

The radio frenzy a couple years ago had to be far more invasive for your wife. I could just picture her reaction when you'd open a large box and pull a 35 year old radio out----wrapped in nicotine stained towels----completely overpowering any other scents in your home. If she didn't break a cast iron pan over your skull then----she never will.

You're right, Angelo. My wife was very upset by all those crates of vintage radios coming into the house. They take up valuable real estate.

Check out this extra thick diver watch. It's 30mm thick.
