If everything on eBay sells in the next week or so, my watch count should be down to 12. In two weeks, I should have my Tuna and my Sumo (yeah, I re-purchased it), so here's the collection in order of preference:
1. Seiko Tuna SBBN017
2. Seiko Sumo SBDC001
3. Orient M-Force, black dial
4. Orient M-Force, orange dial
5. Seiko Black Monster, Gen II
6. Deep Blue Depthmaster, orange dial
7. Molarity Diver
8. Seiko Black Monster, Gen I
9. Eco-Zilla on rubber strap
10, 11, 12: Invicta Force Master, black, silver, and blue dials
My goal is to enjoy the collection where it stands and not buy a watch for a year. One watch a year would suit me just fine.
Final Note: I'll need to contact my home owner's insurance as my current collection doesn't at all resemble the one from over a year ago.
The parallels between our collections are striking - we truly are "watch obsession brothers" (or is it, co-habitants of a watch crack house?).
Your Tuna equates with my OSD; then there's the Sumo; you have two different color Orient M-Forces, I have the Revolvers. You have the Depthmaster, I have the Abyss. We both have the 1st gen Black Monster. After that it starts breaking down a bit - I'm a bit more focused on micro-divers. You have one Citizen, as do I, but they are very different.

Yes, we have been on a similar watch journey and now I hope we enjoy a much needed hiatus from more watches as we can enjoy the ones we have.

I'm scared. This austerity movement (at least in quantity) is unsettling. I don't like change. What are you going to write about? We've been existing on watches and radios for years now. What's next? Cheesecake recipes? Scared. Very scared.

Ha ha, I know what you mean, Angelo. I'm hoping Jeff posts more "Herculodge Chronicles" posts so I have something to comment on.
