With my watch enthusiasm now at a point where I'm only excited by watches that cost a grand or more, I've cut down to one a year. The one that captures my imagination this time would stay on a rubber strap and it would be the Seiko SBBN023 Marinemaster with a 47mm bezel. Great complement to my Seiko SBBN017 Tuna.
Jeff,
I like the overall style of the watch, but not the pink color. Some photos show the contrasting color as red, not pink. Hopefully this is the case.
Since you mentioned you're color blind, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

I've heard the color is red but salmon red is pink. It will be sold out anyway. It's a limited edition. I have a whole year to worry about it.

It looks slightly pinkish in this picture, I but I think is actually red. But if you can't tell the difference, Jeff, then no problems!
Also to note is that the shroud is glossy, while the "Darth Tuna's" is matte. Just a matter of preference, but just be aware of that.

In the image above it looks hot pink to me. Not very manly.
Many of the images on the web show it as pink or pinkish red. It's probably just problem with the color accuracy.
The images at the 8th post here show it as red, and it looks very impressive.

For under thirty bucks and free shipping----this looks like a nice fashion piece. I like it in black better than stainless. I own a Shark watch----they're quite presentable for the money and have leading edge designs. Mine has been trouble-free too and keeps good time.
